Last month I went to visit the night safari. However my compact camera was not able to capture the photos in the dark moonless night, so I thought I can share the joy using video from youtube.
What caught my attention was, the sheer number of visitors. I was a long line of queue, like the line to clear the immigration at London Heathrow. The tour by the tram was a quick one. That was expected from a guided tour. To get a better view, it is better to take a stroll into the park. The walkway was clearly marked. There is no danger of losing your way and accidently ended in a lion kernel.
The habitat seem to natural for my view. The animals would definitely think otherwise. However the are in better conditions than some of the other zoos that I had visited, where the animals are kept in concrete closures.
If you do not want to be in big crowd, you can always come a bit later. By 9: 30 the length of the queue was shorter.
