It is truely an exotic Bali. Our lovely holiday last year proved it. We want to share the beautiful island with the world.
The island had recovered from the infamous Bali Bombing. The number of tourists are doubled compared to what it used to be a decade ago.

We stayed in a nice hotel on the beach, the Bintang Hotel, quiet near to the airport. Nice hotel just next to the beach scenic beauty, the calm sea , just a few minutes from the dance place
My wife and daughter were attracted to the street peddlers. They were selling all sort of fancy stuff as gifts to take home from the exotic island of Bali.

We also passed through a monkeys sanctuary. Monkey has a significant role in the story of the epic of Sita and Rawayana.The monkeys were waiting. Take care of your belongings, glass or handbags, they may rip you off

On the second night, we decided to see the kecak dance. This is a traditional dance based on Hindu’s epic.
The dance was at the beach front at sun set. It was an enchanting scenery of the high cliff and clear sea.
The dance retold the epic of Mahandra, Rama in Sita were married and in love

The dance reminded me of my younger days, where I did read alot of the stories of the old epics. Although we did not believe in them, it was only stories re told so many times.
It does reflect the thinkings of the people thousands of year ago, when the kingdoms of magics were the order of those days, the wizards would foretell the events that can create the misery for many.
Exotic Bali reminds of the dream, the dream that came true into the dance of the night’s winds.

If you do not want to be in a hassle with the other tourist, there are some tour operator that can arrange off the tract tour. It is unlikely that you will be swamped by the other tourists.
Climbing Mt Batur.
Mt Batur is a small volcanic mountain at the center of big crater where the original mountain that was blown off thousands of years ago. You need to climb it early in the morning, Otherwise it would be too hot.
