Hong Kong was one of the valuable colony of the British before it was returned to China. It still retain some of its special privileges, despite being a districts of the communist country.

There are many interesting places to visit in hong kong. I list here two of the famous destination:

1. Victoria Peak

It is the highest peak in the island of Hong Kong towering about 400 meters above see level.

On a clear day or night, you can see the breath taking view of the island. You can see the Central District, the busy Hong Kong habor  and the surrounding island.

2. Madam Tussauds of Hong Kong

Houses of Dolls in hong kong

Some of the rich and famous living in the houses of dolls, the Madam Tussauds. It is an extension of the establishment in London, where the life size figures with almost life features were created for visitors.

Can can take pictures, and I have forgotten whether it is free of to be paid. There are more interesting places to visit in hong kong. It had changed slowly since the return to China

There is a system to collect the rain water to be used for plants watering and toilet system. It does add additional cost, but the saving in the cost can be substantial. The heat from aircondition is used to heat up the hot water.
